O Willow Waly ( The Innocents) Ashley Serena

I received a lovely email back in February requesting I make a cover of this enchanting song from the 1961 classic The Innocents. Off I went to borrow it from the local library and instantly fell in love. This is a story I ve seen on stage ( The Turn of the Screw ) and it translates beautifully onscreen. Mind you, I had every intention of making this feel really scary for Halloween as it s quite spooky in the film but the more I sang it, the sadder I felt. Even though the story is chilling, it s also steeped in incredible tragedy.
