DIY Camera Jerk Stopper Using Prusik Knot
In this video we show you how to make your own DIY jerkstopper for your camera with a piece of string and a Prusik knot. It makes an elegant and cheap alternative to commercial solutions to the problem of cables popping out ports (of your camera during tethering, laptop mid DJset, VR headset mid gunfight etc) The Prusik knot is commonly used in climbing, and it has the benefit of being easy to move freely for adjustment and gripping tightly under sudden lateral load.
