Lemon Bristlenose Breeding Behaviour

Only seven days after one lot of fry are hatched, the second female of my trio of Lemon BN s decides that she is ready to spawn. This I have found happens after I do a large water change, and replace with slightly cooler fresh water. For the first few times the male will normally chase the female away from the cave, this proves to her that he can keep the cave secure for her eggs.
