1 GHDs are the best developer of the lower back, hamstrings and glutes. 2 When performing GHDs, it is better to hold the weight on the back, as this will force you into a flat back position, as opposed to rounding forward if holding weights in front. 3 Arm strength plays a valuable role in catching and stabilizing the snatch, dont neglect training your upper body. 4 Improved pressing strength will allow you to recover from mistakes made earlier in your lifts.
