Queer Craft (1931)
A French aeroglider is the subject of this film. Shot from behind the aeroglider as it is launched into a lake. Capable of 90 miles an hour, they call it Hornet. Its sting is a depth charge for antisubmarine We see the craft bouncing along the water. Another strange vehicle is demonstrated the seacar. M, S of a strange boat on wheels in front of Cleethorpes pier. C, U of the rear axle of the car it has a propeller on the back as well as wheels. The car is driven into the sea lots of people on board about 20. It travels along the length of the pier. It then returns and drives up the beach. Was an item in Pathe Pictorial issue number 694.
