Extremely Rusty 1940s Coca Cola 6 pack Restoration

I will restore this CocaCola 6 pack. It s very rusty and it s missing the handle It s likely made during WWII because, usually these are made of aluminum but during the war aluminum was used for planes etc. and materials for these were changed to steel. I decided to not use laser for rust removal this time, simply because I didn t want to miss opportunity to restore CocaCola item with Coke. I used sugar free version to avoind averything getting sticky. After 5 days in CocaCola lot of rust had fallen off and teh rest came off with metal brush easily. , without any tretment it will take ages to get rust off with only a wire brush. After removing rust, I bent the metal to it s original shape from the areas it had some damage. Rust had also damaged teh metal and caused a lot of pittin and even holes. I used filler to get rid of most of those adn sanded evertything down. For the paint I used first a base coat. I usually use filler base coat which is a little thicker than regular and can hide small imperfectio
