Viking Cooking Barley Porridge and Veal Skewers. Spring is the time of year which offers us a great choice in collecting medicinal and nutritious plants. That is why we start our Viking cooking by gathering ingredients in the vicinity of our camp. If we are lucky and Freyjas blessing is above us it will not cause us any problems.
