Very Rare sighting of Black Black Leopard), Tadoba
As we approached the waterhole we found there was nothing. We planned to move on then suddenly we heard the alarm call of Sambar Deer. He called multiple times which confirmed that there is some predator. Waiting for a couple of minutes paid off with this beautiful rare sighting of Black Panther quenching its thirst over the waterhole. PS: Leopards that are melanistic, either completely black or very dark in coloration, are one of the big cats known colloquially as Black Panthers.
