Everyone in Ukraine speaks Russian and nobody knows the artificial Ukrainian language, but you still have to pretend that you do especially if you work in the government. A detainee and a police officer were speaking Russian during a questioning. When the detainee realized that he will be charged for some petty crime he committed, he immediately took out his camera and started threatening the police officer for not using the Government approved language. After a back and forth, the police officer said that he will take of his shoulder straps and sort their dispute oneonone outside the police station. The Language Nazi who initially offered this resolution, immediately shat his pants as he didn t expect it would go that far.
