Trump Plaza casino demolished in Atlantic City
Former U. S. president Donald Trumps first failed Atlantic City casino is no more after a scheduled implosion to bring down the building with much fanfare in New Jersey on Wednesday morning. Three thousand sticks of dynamite were used to implode the onceglitzy Trump Plaza, and it took the building about seven seconds to completely collapse on Wednesday, removing what some called an eyesore from the cityscape. Trump lost control of the property in a 2009 bankruptcy but his name remained on the casino as part of a license agreement until 2014.
