Worlds most amazing photos Part 2
Photo number 10: The Titan beetle (Titanus giganteus) is the longest insect species in the world. Adults can grow up to 6. 5 inches (16. 7 cm) in length. It is said that their mandibles can snap pencils in half and cut into human flesh. Adult titan beetles do not feed, they simply fly around to find mates. There is a local cottage industry of leading tours to collect specimens of this beetle (which can command prices over US500). Photo number 9: The Atlantic wolffish, also known as the Seawolf or sea cat, is a marine fish, the largest of the wolffish family. They are commonly sighted throughout Asia. The largest specimen recorded measured 150 cm (almost 5 ft) long and weighed almost 18 kg (40 lbs). The Atlantic wolffish s distinguishing feature, from which it gets its common name, is its extensive teeth structure. Behind the conical teeth in the upper jaw, there are three rows of crushing teeth. The lower jaw has two rows of molars behind the primary conical teeth. br, br,
