The trays are put into a huge electric incubator that tilts the eggs as a hen would (not quite the same thing though, is it ). Magnified shots show what is happening inside the egg as we see the heart beating, the spine taking shape, followed by veins and arteries. After 21 days we see a fully formed chick.
