Religious views on language have a strong foundation from classical philosophies. All developed civilizations revered language as a gift from God, Nature. And language is given to humans to live a life using the intellectual faculties such thoughts and processing thoughts. We can that from the tradition of the Abrahamic religions, the Egyptians, the Babylonians, the Indians, and so on. Indians consider ability to use language as an aspect of consciousness similar to the Greeks who consider language is an attribute of Devine logos.
