Not for us but for the beloved instruments we are playing The handpan is in great danger because the inventors of the Hang claim copyright and say all handpans are mere copies and should be illegal. We can only imagine what huge consequences this might have on the handpan world. Makers and resellers are already being stopped to make and sell handpans. At some point maybe even the public display of handpans (videos, concerts, workshops, etc. ) might be illegalized.
