In 2018, Oregonbased scubadiver Jared Leisek started cleaning up local rivers and posting videos of the underwater adventures to his YouTube channel, Adventures With Purpose. When the group began recovering submerged vehicles, families of missing people began to take notice. Montana resident Bob Goff had been looking for his wife, Tammy, for nearly three years when he contacted the group for help searching for her truck in the river where Tammys dog was found shortly after she disappeared.
