Best batty grape face EVVA : this is Clawed

Clawed is an adult male GreyHeaded FlyingFox who was dropped off to me for assessment. He was found on the ground in a courtyard. Initially, like so many newly rescued batties, he was cranky as, and wanted to turn me into confetti, but this was mostly cranky and not a pain response. I decided to occupy his pointy bits with a grape or two to make friends and be able to have a look at him. Thus began a half hour odyssey with him as he decided to go for the record of how many grapes can be fitted into a batty mouth at any one time. It was the best batty grape face I have ever seen. I started with one, which was snatched and attacked angrily, and proceeded until he was taking grapes happily and stuffing them into his mouth. I m not going to tell you how many grapes he actually fitted in, because I want you to find out for yourself, but it was a LOT. I was extremely surprised.
