MARIA MOKHOVA (Eliminated in the 2nd round) Concert organist Maria Mokhova was born in 1982 in Nizhny Novgorod, in Russia. She was only five when she started playing the piano with Bella Alterman. Six years later, she began her organ studies with Tatyana Botchkova. Between 1999 and 2005, she was a student at the Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory in both piano and organ.
