A Russian defence industry think tank reportedly upped a cash reward for the capture of an Estonianmade UGV, THeMIS, operating in Ukraine. The significant increase in the bounty came as ground robots became hot commodities on the battlefield in Ukraine. In 2023, the Moscowbased CAST announced a reward of nearly 11, 000 for anyone who would procure a THeMIS vehicle in a relatively unscathed state. The THeMIS is a product of Estonian robotic vehicle manufacturer Milrem Robotics, a subsidiary of the Edge Group.
