Cooking Without Utensils (1964)
Tavistock, Devon. A story about Ross Salmon who teaches boys from Mount House School to cook outdoors without any utensils. There is a shot of foodstuffs all laid out such as fish, sausages and eggs. Outside the boys stand round while Ross shows them how to cook an egg by hollowing out an orange skin and cracking the egg into it over the fire. He takes it out with a stick and an axe. Next he cooks fish by rolling it up in newspaper dipping it in water and putting it on the fire. We also see a flour and water mixture wrapped round a stick, various things can be put in the middle and cooked. Various shots as it is cooked and eaten. Cuts exist see separate record.
