Army TARDEC (Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center) is testing the Chevrolet Colorado ZH2 to evaluate its offroad capabilities. The Colorado ZH2 is the the most extreme offroad hydrogen fuelcell electric vehicle ever made by General Motors. Soldiers from the 4th Infantry Division and 10th Special Forces Group exercised the demonstrator to evaluate the ZH2 s power (torque) responsiveness, silent mobility, high exportable power, and fuel cell technology.
