Queens Christmas Message 2019
Queen Elizabeth II looks back on 2019 and some of the major milestones of the year including the 50th anniversary of the moon landing and the 75th anniversary of DDay. The Queen discusses how these monumental events started out with small steps and while the path may not always be smooth, the small steps can make a world of difference. Looking ahead to a new decade, the Queen remarked that it is often the small steps, not the giant leaps, that lead to everlasting change. FULL TRANSCRIPT The Queen: As a child, I never imagined that one day a man would walk on the moon. Yet this year, we marked the fiftieth anniversary of the famous Apollo 11 mission.
