Flip Flappers A Thematic Exploration

I take a crack at explaining Flip Flappers, but I remain unsatisfied. Its a show I thought was mediocre despite attempts to understand why people liked it. Its got gay characters, looks cool, and references psychology and art and whatever, fine, enjoy it where I couldnt. No reason for me to get mad. Also I didnt understand what a coming of age story was FUCK. Also depth is relative and thus, not worthwhile as praise or criticism.
