Scuba Diving, Florida, West Palm, Dive Site: Nuns

This was the second of two drift dives in March 2020. It was the first day dive boats had gone out after several days of bad weather and the current was extreme according to local divers and crew. During our first dive we had to drop twice as we did not descend quickly enough to remain with the group. on the second drop of the first dive site I lost my GoPro when the lanyard broke. Luckily, the second drop but us ahead of the dive group and the dive master found my GoPro allowing me to record the second dive. I was very thankful and tipped her well, all of the cash I had with me. This was a brand new GoPro 10 and my first time diving with it. We had intended to remain in West Palm and do an evening dive on the Blue Heron Bridge but the weather degraded and it was completely blown out.
