Full title reads: Meigle. The Duchess of York opens historic Belmont Castle as an Eventide Meigle, Scotland. Bagpipe band parades on grounds outside Belmont Castle. The Duchess of York (later Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother) gets out of a car to be greeted by local dignitaries. The Duchess inspects young women of a uniformed youth movement (not clear which one). The Duchess says a few short words to the gathered dignitaries and crowds. N. B.
