We are addicted to our phones. There s no avoiding that fact. After finding myself mindlessly scrolling more often that I d like, I was inspired to create this piece for a live production. This piece seeks to communicate two key messages; firstly, that there is a stark contrast between the pictures we see on social media and what the person actually feels, and secondly, the anguish and sadness that can result from a desperate desire to be the perfect online person that is validated by likes and comments.
