In Germany, sheltered workshops enable disabled people to work. But the jobs are often monotonous and poorly paid. Some are seeking new horizons. Barbara Jarsinski and Sharaman Sribalan want to quit their jobs at sheltered workshops to find better paid work on the regular labor market.
