Grant Taylor Most people know Bill gates as the richest man in America and the CEO of Microsoft and that s it. But there is much more to Bill Gates that most people don t even know. Bill Gates net worth is currently 66 billion dollars, he has given an extreme amount of money to help society in America. Especially when it comes to education Bill Gates had an early interest in computers in software. As young as 13, Bill started to program computers. In 1973, Bill Gates attended Harvard University, where he met Steve Ballmer who is now the current CEO of Microsoft. Then in 1975, Bill left Harvard to form Microsoft with his childhood friend Paul Allen. His business really started to take off in 1983 when he came out with Microsoft windows, which was the the nextgeneration operation system. He married his wife on January 1, 1994 and together they have done an immense amount to help improve schooling. In 1994, Bill and Melinda founded the Bill and Melinda Gates
