Feathers : first trailer for Cannes Critics Week title title (exclusive)

Omar El Zohairy s Feathers plays in the Critics Week sidebar at this year s Cannes Film Festival (July 617). It follows an Egyptian wife and mother whose life is reinvented when a magician accidentally turns her authoritarian husband into a chicken. The project is El Zohairys feature directing debut after working as an assistant director for the likes of Youssef Chahine and Yousry Nasrallah, and was awarded the Baumi Development Award at Marrakechs 2020 Atlas Workshops with further development at TorinoFilmLab and Cannes Cinefondation. Heretic is handling world sales.
