Confession time The measurements for marking are incorrect. I had flipped my cutting mat and incorrectly used that to measure the marks on the square. They need to be 2. 5 across from the top corner and down, and 1 across and up in the bottom corner Thanks to a comment from angie g I went back and looked over the video and it jumped out at me.
