It also appears to show an ingress, egress test with an astronaut in a spacesuit mockup. The venue is likely Huntsville, Alabama s Marshall Space Flight Center. The footage probably dates to the runup to the Apollo 17 mission in 1972. The film starts with footage of astronauts Jack Schmidt and Gene Cernan deploying an Sband antenna, and then shows an unpainted Lunar Module (possibly a mockup) in a large hangar. At 6:40 a man in a mockup spacesuit climbs the ladder of the LM and then at 9:10 descends. His activities are monitored by a team of men who speak to him via radio.
