Polish Premier and Commander in Chief, General Sikorski honours 3 British Pilots Squadron Leader Forbes, SL Kent and SL Kellett with the Polish equivalent of the VC, the Virtuti Militari. Various shots of General presenting medals to pilots. As he shakes their hands, he also gives them a kiss on the cheek in fine Polish tradition Narrator describes this as just a little embarrassing. Presentation appears to be taking place in embassy, government offices. The officers were leaders of Polish squadrons. A hangar at an East Anglian Fighter Station. King George VI presents medals to 25 RAF (Royal Air Force) officers. Various shots of King presenting medals, he wears military uniform. Queen Elizabeth (later Queen Mother) watches.
