Basic Tarot Card Spreads for Beginners

UPDATE: I ve gotten a lot of questions about the elemental spread, particularly regarding the order of the cards. I deliberately left this open because everyone associates the elements with the directions differently according to tradition, location, etc. So, I would encourage you to do what works for you there is no right or wrong, just decide before you pull the cards. Personally, I use Earth for the righthand card, or with the Westerly direction, and Air, Fire, Water respectively going anticlockwise from there.
