Dave Brubek Quartet Live w Jerry Bergonzi

Early eighties. Not sure where this was recorded. Jerry is in prime form. I heard the band during this time and it was the most exciting jazz that Brubeck ever played. Including the great quartet with Paul Desmond. Unbelievable stuff here. Chris is a great bass player and Randy Jones is one of the most underrated or just ignored drummers of all time. And I think Dave plays better on this then I ve ever heard him before. Jerry Bergonzi is so masterful that he brings out the best in even an icon like
