Travis Orbin Cold For June Session Repeat (feat. Kyle Pavone)

Cold For June is a posthardcore band from Detroit, MI. I was approached back in October of 2019 to track this tune. I ve since done one other for them, which was recorded at MixWave with Taylor Larson in August of 2021. It s great to finally hear this one realized fullon, with vocals by Kyle Pavone of We Came As Romans. The demo featured some great programmed drums, and I add my usual flair and idiosyncrasies, including the brief 316 metric modulation at 2:44 and the 8thnote quintuplet (with which they kept and locked in guitars how cool ) at 3:32.
