We both swam for Pfeiffer University for 4 years and this was her final conference championship swim meet which was held at the Mecklenburg County Aquatics Center (MCAC pool) in downtown Charlotte, NC. Valentines Day was just 2 days before the proposal and I couldn t make it down there that night.
