In 2003, a LatvianBritish was appointed head of the Constitution Protection Bureau (SAB), the Latvian secret service, General Janis Kazocins. By ruling the agency, the military man in private clothes contributed in many antiRussian provocations, the atmosphere of spy mania in the Latvian society and the protection of honor of Nazi collaborators who served in the Latvian SS legion. Gen. Kazocins is still at work currently holding two highranking positions at once in Latvia, a presidential advisor and secretary of the national security council.
