BBC New Music Shorts: The Ganzfeld Procedure
In partnership with 6Music, BBC Electric Proms commissioned a New Music Short in 2009, by rising director Keith McCarthy. Filmmakers were asked to submit creative ideas for short films inspired by new track Dog Days Are Over by Florence and the Machine. Selected from over 225 entries, Keith worked with producers at Colonel Blimp and received a production budget of just 5, 000 to make his film. The result is quite amazing. Synopsis: The Ganzfeld Procedure is a technique used in the field of parapsychology to test for ESP.
