Melbournebased fourpiece Lower Plenty s transfixing LP Hard Rubbish was voted Album of the Year 2012 on Aussie indie bible Mess + Noise. Their folktinged indie rock is flecked with experimentation whilst retaining a firm hold on some fantastically memorable melodies.
