Jon Wasserman performing Zalopojka (Lament) by Dusan Bogdanovic. He is playing a Frederich Holtier Classical Guitar, 128 with Western Red Cedar double top and East Indian Rosewood back sides. Jonathan Wasserman is a student at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music (IU) where he studies classical guitar, early music, music education and ethnomusicology. He has performed in venues ranging from Carnegie Hall with the IU NOTUS Choir to ancient churches in Quito, Ecuador with Ensemble Lipzodes. His other performing ensembles include the IU Baroque Orchestra and Early Music Ensemble Concentus, IU Guitar Ensemble, IU Latin American Music Ensemble, Burgundian Consort, and other IU Choruses. Coupled with ensemble performances, he also regularly performs solo and chamber recitals on the classical guitar and early plucked string instruments.
