In this film the camera is in the car, the sound recordist is on the street, and the car plays music out the window. Fleeting sounds and images are matched up. Filmed in Los Angeles in 2014 and 2015. The first section, and maybe the film, ends at 8:21. Next, the camera gets out of the car and the city provides its own sound, at the Long Beach Grand Prix. The film then digresses to the Port of Los Angeles near the end of a major dockworkers strike. Ship traffic was seized up, leaving a line of boats running down the coast.
