Michael Poses As Real Life Xi Yang Yang on Chinese TV

In China there is an extremely popular animated series called Xi Yang Yang, most commonly translated as Happy Sunny Sheep or Pleasant Goat, depending on your preference. Think Dora the Explorer crossed with the RoadRunner. One of my Chinese colleagues suggested (or insisted ) that I looked like a reallife version of the Pleasant Goat. While I was in Yunnan, she also suggested that I go on a local TV dating show while simultaneously posing as Xi Yang Yang. The result is the following video, which profiles me posing as Xi Yang Yang and playing up an affinity for sheep, struggling with Chinese, reading a Mao poem, cooking in a local restaurant, and getting a shave, all in the interest of attracting possible suitorettes, and aired on a Yunnan TV station in October.
