Horatio Parker (1866 1919): Fairyland Suite (1915)

Horatio Parker s second opera Fairyland was completed in1915. From this opera he assembled his orchestral suite. Richard Korn conducts the Orchestra of the America in this concert performance. Richard Kaye Korn founded and led the Orchestra of America from 1959 until it disbanded in 1964. This recording can be dated within this five year period.
