Exclusive On LA County DA George Gascón first full day in office he dropped a felony case against three antipolice protesters charged with trying to derail a train while protesting at the Compton Sheriffs station. Gascón said he did so in the interest of justice. But FOX 11 has obtained unreleased surveillance video that shows two of the protesters dragging a metal barricade onto the train tracks, and a jail call recording of one protester boasting that his attorney, a friend and campaign donor of Gascón has Gascón ear. The veteran prosecutor who was handling the case went public. He was reprimanded transferred after he questioned Gascóns order to drop the case. Shortly after this story aired, L. A.
