Sea Wall (1954)
Birchington, Kent. Aerial view of flooded coastal area of Kent in 1953. Various shots of men working on a new sea wall between Birchington and Reculver. The men dig and flatten clay. Wooden posts are forced into the ground with a special machine. A man uses a theodolite. Wire is fitted together to form part of the structure.
