Patrick and Jack are friends who survive an epidemic that turns the infected people into zombies. However, their friendship eventually crumbles when Patrick s wife, Emma, passes away. After the zombies disappear, Jack raises Emma s daughter, Lu, as his own while Patrick drowns himself in alcohol.
