Clio Barnard 2013 Il solito cinema inglese crudo, vero, scarno, violento. E bellissimo. Un film di cavi e cavalli, dolcezza e violenza, odio e amicizia. Con un quarto dora finale che non mi si stacca di Il solito cinema british di bimbi sporchi e cattivi, di gente che non arriva a fine mese, di loschi giri e modi di arrabattarsi. E di degrado, tremendo degrado. Il degrado della famiglia Fenton, quella di Arbor, una madre sola con due figli ai confini della malattia mentale, costretti già da giovanissimi a prendere pillole. Arbor è iper attivo, violentissimo, ingestibile, insopportabile, cattivo. Il suo migliore amico è Swifty. E la sua di famiglia sta anche peggio, gli zingari li chiamano, puzzate gli dicono, vendereste anche i fratellini per andare avanti gli urlano e in parte è vero, vendono di tutto per riuscire a sopravvivere chè ormai non resta che mangiare un po di carne di barattolo in terra.
