Kopa and Vitani REAL story

UPDATE:After the original release of The Lion King, there were various marketing products created, including a set of books that sequeled the movie. These books were about Simba and Nala s cub Kopa, and other characters. When production on the Lion King II began, writers felt that a female would be a better change, and created Kiara, ignoring the books about Kopa. Zira didn t kill Kopa, it s just the most popular way for the fandom to tie up loose ends. The movie just ignores his existence. So i think that the good thing is Kopa survives.
