Let s Be Friends is the first of two new original songs that were released as digital singles in 2020, while the band was on hiatus during the pandemic. An ode to the joy of platonic friendship, the song was written by Pink Martini bandleader Thomas M. Lauderdale, lead vocalist China Forbes, and producer Jim Bianco.
