Reggae Rhythm Guitar Riffs and Fills Lesson
Play reggae rhythm guitar is not that difficult. However, to make it sound authentic, righteous and with a nice relax feel, is not in any way shape or form easy. Otherwise every Tom, Dick and Harry could do it. This reggae guitar lesson therefore shows how to add riffs and fills when playing reggae rhythm. It is done with a backing track to make it more realistic and also to add interest and avoid boredom. The backing track used is one I composed in the key of A. The chords are A minor and G major respectively. The lesson shows how to replace strumming with a riff or a fill and then go back to strumming. I used three main riffs in this example but there are others that you come up with and use. The riffs are deliberatly created short and simple to alow quick execution when playing live. Practice the riffs and fills along with the lesson, do it as many times until you get it perfect. I also deliberatly did not tell what notes I was using, simple because I wanted you the listener to
