For Golfers (1929)
When you ve driven a nice long drive into that infernal pond, just below the dip, think of this little device M, S of a man in a bathing suit holding an antiquated diving helmet. He puts the helmet on his head and jumps into an outdoor swimming pool. A man stands on the side of the pool pumping a device which presumably provides oxygen to the diver. The helmet is pulled from the pool and the diver places several golf balls on the side of the pool and climbs out. Just a miniature diving bell, but wouldn t you look funny carrying it round the links C, U of the two men standing beside the pool with their invention. Looks like America.
